Our rating scale is explained here.
Ratings are mostly from 70-100, following other common systems. For most of our reviews, we'll pick cigars in the 80-90 range. In addition, though, we rate a cigar for its intended purpose, bang for the buck, so to speak.
So, for each cigar we review, we'll give an overall score, plus the color score.
For example, a Rocky Patel Edge Maduro might be judged an 82 overall, but since it is such a good value, we'd give it a Blue score of 90.
After each rating is the name of the reviewer. Like movie reviewers, you'll find differences of opinion, but you can probably find a reviewer with similar tastes to help you make better choices.
